Debbie is a calligrapher, graphic designer and paper artist
living in Katy, Texas. She was awarded an international pearl design rendering award in her previous life as a jewelry designer. Debbie has taught calligraphy, book binding and paper art classes in Texas and served as Artist in Residence as well as instructor at Fiber College in Searsport, Maine. The University of Houston Library holds one of her pieces in their private collection and they chose the calligraphic piece to be the cover of their 2021 Holiday Card. She has shared her lifelong art journey presentation with Women in Visual and Literary Arts (WiVLA Houston) and continues on that journey daily.
Debbie loves to teach creative classes and believes that every student can be successful. She is an Enneagram 7, an encourager who loves people (and most dogs)!
